About Me

Jonathan was born in the UK and first visited Kyrgyzstan in 2006 while serving in the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. The experience left an indelible mark. After leaving the army, having worked closely with horses for five years, the opportunity finally came to return to Kyrgyzstan in 2013. In 2015, Jonathan moved to Kyrgyzstan and married Saule in 2016. Since then, his knowledge and love of the land, culture, nature, literature and people of Kyrgyzstan has deepened. It is this knowledge and love, combined with his passion and experience of working with animals, and his desire to share this with others which led to him to become a guide in Kyrgyzstan.
